Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of writing

I humbly place it as an offering before You.

May this gift be used to serve others and point them to You.

Please help me to live a life worthy of this gift, this call to write.

Help me to be humble, gentle, patient, and loving as I share this gift with others.

Please give me a heart that is tender and responsive to Your Spirit,

so that I may experience Your guiding hand as I seek to write as worship.

Lord, please help me to be strong, steadfast, and unshakeable.

Help me to write for Your glory alone.

For I know that everything I do for You has a purpose.

May the words of my heart and the stories of my imagination

be pleasing in Your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

I pray through the Holy Spirit within me
